How are you positve all the time?

This is a question I get asked all the time.

The simple truth…I’m not.  But those are the set backs.

The more positive you are, the more positivity is brought to you. The more you truly believe in positivity, the more it happens.. and the more you feel it.

There is a quote from the tao te ching that always….always rings in my ears: There is no way to happiness…happiness is the way.

What does this mean?  Find happiness!  Be happy! Period!!!!  Just be happy. Look for all the reasons to be happy and positive. Here are a few reasons:

you’re breathing

you have toes

you have fingers

you have legs

you have a brain that works (even if sometimes it feel like it takes a vacation)

You are you

nature is still working

you have a job

you have a life

you have kids

you have a good partner

the sun is shining

the rain is falling and it sounds great

you have electricity

you have somewhere to live

you have food

Yes, there are a lot of things to be happy about. If that wasn’t enough…try this.



  1. That’s extraordinary…I don’t know what to make of it, but it will be interesting to see if further research is done, and maybe in 50 years’ time this will be taken for granted. Anyway, it certainly makes a case for meditation, affirmation mantras, and even saying grace before meals. What I find interesting is that practices that people used to do have been forgotten, but now are making a come back because of scientific discoveries like this one. What I’d like to know tho’ is whether he can produce the same effects many times.
